Mrs. Alice Atwood Brennan, wife to the late James P. Brennan, both longtime residents of Weston, has died. She was 93. Mrs. Brennan was a school teacher for over 20 years. She enjoyed Garden Club, playing bridge with friends, and was an active volunteer. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Family members include her son: Dr. James A. Irving Lawrence Appleman died peacefully on Jan. 29, 2015 at his beloved home and family gathering place beside the Saugatuck River. He was 99. He lived in Weston since 1965. Born Jan. 27, 1916 to Harron and Anna (Weisman) Appleman, Irving was the second youngest of five children. Thomas Bucky MD, age 96, of Redding, CT passed away at Meadow Ridge Health Center on October 23, 2015.
