Gloria Manning, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and formerly of Weston, CT died on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC. Ms. Manning was born on Monday, November 28, 1927 in Englewood, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mary T. Lamb Kenny and Edward F. Manning. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by a brother; Frank E. Manning, Sr. Gloria worked for GE Capital, in Fairfield, CT, for over forty years. John Lawrence Seigenthaler, Jr., a Tennessee newspaperman and activist, died peacefully today at his Nashville home surrounded by his family. He was 86.
