Crowley of Weston, CT, Kathleen Crowley-Kerekas of Hempstead, NY, and Michael Crowley of Black River, NY, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on August 9, 2012, surrounded by her family. Joseph J. Peters, of Weston, the husband of the late Faith M. (Canty) Peters, passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was 79. Joe was born February 18, 1933, in Port Chester, NY, son of the late Frederick and Yvonne (Higgins) Peters and has been a resident of Weston for the past 37 years. Jeanne O’Donnell Maisonpierre died peacefully at her home in Redding in the early morning hours of June 14, 2012. She was born July 20, 1922 to Eileen C. O’Donnell and Dr. William T. O’Donnell and grew up in Belmont, Mass. along with her younger brother, John T. “Jack” O’Donnell, now deceased. Doris Barker Shiller, a Westporter who was active in health district services and civic affairs, died on Sunday, July 22, after a brief illness. She was 79. Ms. Shiller was in the League of Women Voters, and helped establish Project Concern, a program that bused 25 Bridgeport students into the Westport schools. She was vice president of the Child Care Council of the Westport Weston Health District and Parent Child Center, a member of the Advisory Board of the Westport Weston Visiting Homemakers Service, and other civic organizations.
